Erika Rivers served as director of Minnesota State Parks and Trails (2014-2021), where she eruditely managed a $110 million annual budget and over 1,100 staff while being a leader in accessibility and inclusion. She currently serves as executive director at Wilderness Inquiry, a nonprofit whose mission is to connect underprivileged groups to the outdoors.
Formed in 2023, this Friends Group has made incredible strides in creating a network of stewards collaborating to support this Minneapolis regional park.
