The Reuel Harmon Award from Parks & Trails Council of Minnesota honors exceptional service and significant accomplishments benefiting the state’s parks and trails. This award aims to encourage leadership through example, while boosting advocacy, appreciation, and fundraising for the conservation of Minnesota’s natural resources, including its parks, trails, forests, waters, wildlife, and natural heritage. Additionally, the award seeks to raise awareness of Minnesota’s parks and trails, properly recognizing individuals who make remarkable contributions to improving and protecting the state’s natural resources.
