Earth Day Litter Cleanup

Earth Day Litter Cleanup is a partnership event sponsored by Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board. Sign up is in person near Sea Salt at Minnehaha Park, and we provide bags and gloves from the Park Board. Litter cleanup grabbers are available for sign out while available. This is a fun morning of service. Bring your friends or family, and help us get a good start on the spring season by cleaning up little in Minnehaha Park. Parking is free until 1:00pm at all participating park Park Board lots and meters.

Friends of Minnehaha Park

The Friends of Minnehaha Park will provide stewardship and advocacy for Minnehaha Regional Park, engage with the community to respect, and learn about the environment and cultural history of the park, and partner with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and community to foster public engagement in restoring and sustaining the natural environment.
