How Friends Groups can partner with P&TC to acquire land

Friends Groups can play a part in P&TC's mission to acquire land for the public's use and benefit. If your group knows of a property of interest that is up for sale, you can let us know by filling out the application linked here.

Sometimes Friends Groups support a park or trail with land acquisition. The land may be a missing piece to make a trail connection or a parcel within a park’s statutory boundaries. Parks & Trails Council saves critical land through our land acquisition program, which uses the money provided by the Samuel H. Morgan Land Fund. If your Friends Group hears about a property of interest that is coming up for sale, let us know about it! P&TC may be able to partner with your group and with your land management agency.
