Join us for an evening under the stars with scientists from the University of Minnesota’s Institute for Astrophysics. Our evening will begin with a short presentation on an fascinating astrophysics topic followed by a chance to explore the skies with telescopes. Some previous presentations have included our local galaxies and the life and death of stars.
Program begins at the park amphitheater. Participants will need to provide their own vehicle transportation to travel to the telescope viewing location.
Cloudy or rainy conditions may lead to program being canceled.
This program is free to attend, but a vehicle permit is required for all motor vehicles entering the park. It is $7 for a day or $35 for a 12-month permit. Permits can be purchased online or at the park office.
