Slow Roll is a conversationally paced Bike Ride designed to connect people to the hidden history and beauty of misunderstood communities. MinneHONK! is a festival of activist street bands in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our Mashup is a special “Solidarity Brass” Slow Roll on May 3rd as part of MinneHonk! We will explore the legacy and beauty of the Southside with a Live Brass Band Soundtrack, thanks to Brass Solidarity. We will meet at Venture Bikes Midtown and roll out at 9:00 to visit a 100 years of Culture in South Minneapolis and ride to the great American Art form – Jazz. We will visit George Floyd Square, the latest expression of Black Liberation in America, and then return to Venture Bikes for a fresh Oatmeal Bar Breakfast and community. Need a bike – We got you! . Bring a friend and bring a Southside Story

This ride is for all kinds of bikes and all kinds of people – no drop, fully supported. You must be 10 years or older, and we kindly ask that everyone bring a tube that fits their bike. Call or text 612 875 7803 with questions or needs. Park on 10th Avenue between 28th and 29th and walk down to the Midtown Greenway between 10th and 11th Avenue South. We are to the right once you enter the Midtown Greenway.
