Event Type

Snowshoeing is a fun way to beat those winter blues! Learn the history of snowshoes and then try on a pair during this guided snowshoe outing. Bring your own snowshoes or use a pair from the park. This program is recommended for age 5 and up, due to limited shoe size and a walking distance of one mile.

Pre-registration is required.

Registration deadline by 12:00 pm, Friday, December 19, 2025

When emailing or calling to register, please leave:

1. One name.
2. Phone number.
3. Email address.
4. How many people registering for.
5. The program (activity) and date registering for.

There is no fee for the program, but all vehicles entering a MN State Park requires a park permit ($7/daily or $35/annual). Reduced fee or free permits are available for enrolled members of the 11 recognized Minnesota American Indian Tribes, Veterans with a service-related disability, active military, and more.
