Happy Earth Day! Are you looking for a way to give back to nature this Earth Day? Are you a Fort Snelling State Park fan who wants to help keep our beautiful state park clean and natural? Join the park staff in celebrating Earth Day by taking a hike around Pike Island, admiring nature, and picking up trash along the way!
Bring garden gloves/work gloves if possible! Disposable gloves and bags will be provided.
Meet outside the Thomas C. Savage Visitor Center before heading out to Pike Island together. The hike will be three miles on relatively flat terrain and take roughly two hours but could go longer depending on our pace. There is a one and two mile cut off.
NO REGISTRATION NEEDED.
