John Provo, JD founded Provenance Law PLLC after retiring as General Counsel for one of the nation’s largest private wealth management and investment advisory firms.
John received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University, and his law degree from the University of Minnesota. He led a major Twin Cities’ law firm’s estate planning and wealth management group for many years before serving as General Counsel of Fiduciary Counselling Inc., where he led the charitable, trust, tax and estate planning groups and advised its senior management team on legal and business strategy.
John has served as a volunteer on the Second Judicial District’s Ethics Committee, the Saint Paul Nagasaki Sister City Committee, Catholic Charities’ Community Law Center and Maternity of Mary-Saint Andrews school board. John and his wife Susan enjoy hiking, cycling, Boundary Waters canoe trips and the north shore of Lake Superior.
