Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP)

Local Support Grants

Overview

Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) supports community-driven solutions to expand opportunities for active living, healthy eating and commercial tobacco-free living, helping all people in Minnesota prevent chronic diseases including cancer, heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes. There are 41 partnership programs across the state, each with their own strategies for carrying out this mission. Many of the partnership programs provide technical assistance and/or small grants to support these efforts.
