Your support of Friends of Minnehaha Park will help us to continue to foster public engagement in sustaining the natural environment and biodiversity in the park.

Your donations help us to:

Provide stewardship for Minnehaha Regional Park at volunteer restoration efforts including the purchase of tools and safety gear, native seed and plants;
Engage and partner with the community to respect and learn about the environment and cultural history of the park;
Host community events and programs;
Partner with the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and staff to align and expand our efforts; and
Connect with the community and promote our events (both in person and online.)

We are a small and fast growing group who love and are committed to caring for our park. In our inaugural year (2023) we held 4 stewardship events supported by 51 volunteers donating 180 hours. This year we’re on track to quadruple that!
