SUMMARY:Snowshoe Hike to the Cascades
DESCRIPTION:\n\nMeet in the Visitor Center\n\nRiver ice conditions willing\
 , join the Naturalist for a free\, guided snowshoe hike to the Cascades of
  the Baptism River. This trek will be 1.5 miles\, round-trip. Floods recen
 tly destroyed the summer trail to the Cascades\, but given the right ice c
 onditions and a seasoned guide\, you'll still able to safely visit these l
 ovely waterfalls in the winter!\n\nLoaner snowshoes will be available for 
 those who need them\, on a first-come first-served basis. Arrive early eno
 ugh to get your snowshoes before the group leaves on the hike.\n\nThis eve
 nt will be canceled if the air temperatures are below -10F or if the ice c
 onditions on the Baptism are not navigable. Check the park's online Events
  Calendar or call the park for updates as the date nears.\n\n
