DESCRIPTION:Northstar Search & Rescue is an all-volunteer\, non-profit orga
 nization that has been using K-9 teams to help find missing persons for 30
  years. Come to this free program to learn how these teams search for peop
 le in natural and urban areas\, under water\, following disasters\, and in
  other situations. Dogs will be present and all are certified in specific 
 kinds of searches – and all are friendly with people\, too. Part of the 
 class will be outdoors to demonstrate how the teams find a volunteer “mi
 ssing” person. This class is appropriate for all ages.
