DESCRIPTION:Reds\, oranges\, and yellows transform the Big Woods into a lan
 dscape full of beauty in the fall. Join our naturalist for a hike explorin
 g this season of change.\n\nHike covers roughly a mile and includes steps\
 , a portion of boardwalk and hilly terrain. Sturdy shoes are recommended. 
 Front and backpack carriers are encouraged for younger children as the tra
 il is not stroller friendly.\n\nMeet at the picnic shelter.\n\nThis progra
 m is free to attend\, but a vehicle permit is required for all motor vehic
 les entering the park. It is $7 for a day or $35 for a 12-month permit. Pe
 rmits can be purchased online or at the park office.
