DESCRIPTION:\n\nCome enjoy a magical winter night under the moon and stars 
 at Lake Shetek State Park. Let the glow of luminaries guide you on two dif
 ferent paths. One path is about a half mile round trip through the Oak Woo
 ds Campground\, on plowed park roads. Another path is about a 1-mile round
  trip through the woods and along the lakeshore from the Oak Woods Campgro
 und to the Lake Shetek Monument\, on a variety of surfaces with hard packe
 d snow.\n\nThen stop by the Interpretive Center to grab a cup of hot cocoa
  and a cookie while soaking up the warmth of a crackling campfire. Free-wi
 ll donations go to support the Friends of Lake Shetek group.\n\nDressing i
 n layers and sturdy boots is recommended. If snow conditions allow\, bring
  your snowshoes.\n\nEvent will begin at the Interpretive Center. Park Staf
 f will be present to direct you. The Ranger Station will be open for purch
 asing vehicle permits the night of the event.\n\nThe event is free to atte
 nd\, but a vehicle permit is required for all motor vehicles entering the 
 park. It is $7 for a day or $35 for a 12-month permit. Permits can be purc
