SUMMARY:Candlelight Night - Ski\, Walk\, & Snowshoe
DESCRIPTION:Six miles of winter trails will be illuminated by candles to gu
 ide you through an annual winter tradition at Wild River. This year the ev
 ent is on Valentine's Day! Skiers\, walkers and snowshoers are welcome to 
 take to the trails. Please use event map to find the correct trail for you
 r activity. Maps are available at the event.\n\nActivities and Locations\n
 \nThe trail center and visitor center are good places to warm up. Marvel a
 t an enormous bonfire and participate in activities throughout the park. T
 here are no ski or snowshoe rentals.\n\nTrail Center area: event maps\, wo
 odstoves\, refreshments\, walk to the enormous bonfire\, telescope. Visito
 r Center area: event maps\, live music\, woodstove\, biochar kiln demonstr
 ation\, refreshments.\n\nEvent Notices and Permits\n\nCanceled if windchil
 l is below -15F. Snowshoeing is welcome but not necessary. If there is ver
 y low or no snow\, we will use battery candles for a walking trail.\n\nEve
 nt and activities are free\, but vehicles must display a $7 one-day/$35 ye
 ar-round MN State Parks Vehicle Permit. Skiers (16 and older) need a $10 o
 ne-day/$25 one-year ski pass\, which is valid at 90 MN destinations.\n\nTh
 anks to Friends of Wild River State Park for coordination and volunteering
  to make this event amazing!
