Author Phyllis Root and photographer Kelly Povo spent ten years exploring Minnesota’s woods, prairies, hillsides, lakes, and bogs for wildflowers, taking pictures and notes, gathering clues, mapping the way for fellow flower hunters. They will present on their epic pursuit with helpful tips, exquisite photographs, and the story of their own search.
During his 35 years serving in the Legislature (1975-78 in the House and 1981-2012 in the Senate), Keith Langseth was a tireless champion for Minnesota’s natural resources. He chaired the Senate Capital Investment Committee from 2000-2012, where he played a key role in ushering through bills that have left a lasting legacy on the state parks and trails.
