Please join us for a free event on Tuesday, May 30 at 7pm at the Scandia Community Center for a presentation by Starry Skies North – the local chapter of Dark Sky International
Learn about the impacts of artificial light at night, what it means for you, our ecosystem, and how to enact simple change.
Starry Skies North Board Chairperson, Chris Peterson, Science Committee Lead and Secretary, Dr. Caitlin Johnson, and Member and Minnesota Astronomical Society President Emeritus Mark Job, will guide us through the local impacts of light pollution, introduce easy solutions, and show stunning pictures of the cosmos. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
