NorthStar Trail Travelers (NSTT) will sponsor a noncompetitive walk on Saturday, August 13, at La Salle Lake State Recreation Area. Register between 9 a.m, and 2 p.m. and finish by 4 p.m. Fees from $2-$8.
We have two trails for you to walk, totaling 10km. One 5km trail goes out to an overlook of the Mississippi and back through woods and prairie. The second 5km is an out and back lollipop loop with rolling hills and includes a spur to an overlook of the lake.
Registration is at the Picnic Shelter. Brats/hot dogs and other food will be available for a donation throughout the day. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome.
