NorthStar Trail Travelers (NSTT) is sponsoring a fall fun walk on Sunday, September 18, at Savanna Portage State Park. Register between 8 a.m, and 1 p.m. and finish by 3 p.m. Fees from $2-$8.
Trails will include two options totaling 11km. The 6km trail goes around Lake Shumway and the Interpretive Bog Boardwalk. The 5km is along the Esker Trail and Black Spruce Trail with a mixture of dry land and lowlands. Strollers can be used on these trails.
Registration by campsites 62-64. Brats/hot dogs and other food will be available for a donation throughout the day. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome.
