Plants may be stuck in one place, but they’re much more active than many people are aware of as they perform tasks like self-defense, seeking energy to grow on, obtaining cooperation from other life-forms, and spreading their offspring. Naturalist Dave Crawford leads a walk at Minnehaha Park to share insights into how plants successfully cope with the challenges of living as inanimate objects while not-so-secretly pursuing a goal of taking over the world.

Don’t miss out on this chance to learn about nature and explore the beauty of Minnehaha Park!

The planned walk is approximately 2/3 mile in length including a side trip to view the falls. Free. Space limited. Registration required. Sponsored by Friends of Minnehaha Park.
