Candlelight Walk

Approximately one mile of trail through the Lake Maria forest will be lit by candle luminaries.  The trail begins and ends at the heated trail center building.  You may walk the trail or use snowshoes.  There will also be a supervised bonfire along the trail.  Refreshments will be served.  This is a popular event at the park, so it’s best to arrive early. There is a $7 vehicle entrance fee into the park for those without an annual permit.

Lake Maria State Park is located approximately seven miles northwest of Monticello, 10 miles northeast of Annandale, and five miles north of Maple Lake on Wright County Highway 111.
