NorthStar Trail Travelers (NSTT) is sponsoring a summer fun walk on Sunday, August 14, at Lake Bemidji State Park. Register between 8 a.m, and 1 p.m. and finish by 3 p.m. Fees from $2-$8.
We have two trails at for you to walk, totaling 10km with a 4km and 6km trails. A 4km loop will follow the lake to an overlook, then through the park and back down around the campgrounds. The 6km trail will go out on the boardwalk to Bog and beyond into the park. All trails are shaded and sunny with gentle hills, dirt and grassy trails.
Registration is at the Picnic Shelter by the lake. Brats/hot dogs and other food will be available for a donation throughout the day. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome.
