Come explore the park while learning how to use the Avenza Map app. We will learn how to use the app in general and put it to the test in the park. Learn how to track your walk, see your heading, drop a pin and add a photo of a favorite place. We’ll meet at the park office, review the app and how to use the map. Then we will drive to the Shumway boat landing to try out the app. August 10 at 9:30-11, Savanna Portage State Park office.
Recommendations: Download the Avenza App. Within the map app; go to the “Store” to get the park map. Select “Savanna Portage State Park Summer” map. If you need help to get the app and map, we will try to use the park’s wifi. Bring water and bug spray.
