Start the New Year outdoors with a self-guided hike, ski, or snowshoe. First Day Hikes are a great way to get outside, exercise, and welcome in the New Year with nature. Warm up in the picnic shelter next to the wood stove and enjoy hot chocolate provided by the Frontenac State Park Association volunteer group.
The park’s trails range from easy to difficult. The sledding hill is also open. There is a limited number of sleds and snowshoes available to rent in the woodshed next to the ranger station.
