Come walk with NSTT at Frontenac State Park on Sunday, September 13. A 5km trail goes through prairie and along the shore of Pleasant Valley Lakelet with some rolling hills on a mowed grass path. The 6km trail follows the Hiking Club Trail down steps and by an old sandstone quarry. It goes to the bottom of the valley and back up to the Eagle Point Lookout, overlooking Lake Pepin. The trail is mostly crushed rock with some mowed grass stretches.
Arrive between 9am-2pm and finish the walk by 4pm.
Cost: $2 for walk only; $3 for IVV Achievement book stamp; and $8 for the event award, a hand cut, hand painted leather pin of the In-Yan-Teopa Rock.
COVID-19 precautions will be in place around the registration/food area.
A limited participant picnic (for a donation) will be available until gone. All food is individually packaged and handled only by masked/gloved volunteers.
Come join us!
