Walk through the riparian forest and along the beach to Sand Point. We hope to see spring migrating warblers and resident birds of the forest, waterfowl, terns, gulls, and shorebirds.
Bring binoculars. The trail is well-maintained and flat. It can be muddy following rain. The full loop is approximately 2 miles long.
Meet at the Sand Point Parking Lot at 8:00 a.m. sharp.
The birding walk lasts 2-4 hours, depending on how many birds we see, but participants are free to leave whenever they like.
