This program will uncover tips and tricks to making scrumptious food over the fire and give you information about the camping and lodging opportunities offered at Minnesota’s state parks. A live cooking demonstration will showcase equipment, tools, and methods for cooking. Whether you are a curious beginner or avid cook looking to add more skills to your arsenal, this program provides a neat glimpse into the wide world of campfire cooking.
Dress for the weather and meet at the Thomas C. Savage Visitor Center (two miles from park entrance. Plan for an additional 10 minute drive through the park). No registration required.
Free. A state park permit is required on each vehicle ($7/day pass or $35 annual pass. Available at park office upon entry to park).
