Mill Towns State Trail Segment Grand Opening Celebration at Lake Byllesby

We’ve been looking forward to this day for five years, since we began partnering to acquire a key parcel for the trail, and now it’s here! Come celebrate the opening of the newest addition of the state trail system. This 2-mile segment of the Mill Towns State Trail runs from Lake Byllesby Regional Park to Hannah’s Bend park in Cannon Falls, Minn.
The MnDNR is hosting the grand opening celebration in partnership with Goodhue and Dakota County. Festivities tentatively include a ribbon cutting, naturalist programs, refreshments and a community bike ride. Parks & Trails Council is providing cupcakes. We hope to see you there!
