2:30 PM Guided voyageur canoe ride

Following a morning in which the public is invited to our property for a paddle with the crew from Wilderness Inquiry, Magney Circle members are invited to an exclusive canoe ride. No prior canoeing experience is necessary. The voyageur canoes are 24-foot long and fit 10 people each.

3:30 PM Guided tour of the property

Come walk the grounds with P&TC staff and experience this special place for yourself. For 80 years, it was used for outdoor learning by the Boy Scouts and offers a prime nature setting along Lake Shetek.

4:00 PM Dinner

We’ll gather in the lodge located on our property for a seated dinner.

Camping/Lodging Options

Free camping within our property
Make your visit last the full weekend with the option to camp anywhere on our 24-acre property. Whether you want to pitch a tent next to the lake or bring your RV and plug in to the electric ports in the parking lot, you are welcome. Camping is allowed any time between Friday, Oct. 6 at 4 PM and Sunday, Oct. 8 at noon. There are two basic, single-use bathrooms in the lodge, each with a shower. Additional portapotties will be available too. There are four 15-amp outlets on posts in the parking lot, which can be reserved.
