Come out an enjoy Rice Lake State Park in the evening under a recently full moon. The main loop, a mile and a half long trail, will lead you through the candlelit forest from the boat ramp parking lot to the campground, then downhill to Rice Lake, and along its the lantern-lit shore back to the start. There will be turn offs at a half mile and a mile if you prefer something shorter, or add a little more on the second trip around.
Warm up by the bonfire or in the warming shelter, both at the boat ramp lot, along with s’more fixings. Other treats, hot chocolate, and hot cider will be found at the park office.
