Freshwater Future’s Project Grants fund grassroots projects that promote river, lake, shoreline, wetland, groundwater, and drinking water protection in the Great Lakes Basin.

Applicants should read the grant RFP and fill out the application (available as a Word .docx file or as a PDF). Contact Laurie Breighner at laurie@freshwaterfuture.org with any questions.
Funding Amount
$500 – $5,000
The minimum request is $500 and the maximum request is $5,000. A financial match is not required, but if the applicant has one, they should include those amounts in the budget and identify the financial sources in the notes.

- Encouraging good public policies
