What is the Shakopee Riverfront Cultural Trail?
The Shakopee Riverfront Cultural Trail (SRCT) will be a recreational and interpretive trail comprising a 2.5-mile section of the existing Minnesota Valley State Trail, from the Holmes Street Bridge through The Landing: Minnesota River Heritage Park.
What is the Minnesota Valley State Trail?
Today the Minnesota Valley State Trail runs from the Bloomington Ferry Bridge to Chaska. Someday it is envisioned to stretch farther north to Fort Snelling and farther south beyond Chaska.
What is the Minnesota Valley Trail Friends Group?
Volunteers with a passion for protecting and serving the Shakopee and Scott County communities are gathering together this spring to support the Minnesota Valley State Trail, both now as it’s being developed and long into the future as it’s being maintained.
