Other Ways to Give

There are a number of ways to support our work through planned giving options like gifts by wills, living trusts, retirement plans, life insurance and more.

Not all gifts need to be made with cash. Gifts of stock can be transferred and save you capital gains tax.

Please call or email us prior to sending or transferring the shares so we can ensure your donation is handled properly. Provide the following info:

• Your name and contact info
• Expected date of transfer
• Value of stock at time of transfer
• Number of shares
• Name of stock or mutual fund

P&TC participates in several workplace giving campaigns that allow employees to donate through payroll deductions, including Minnesota Environmental Fund and the Combined Charities Fund (#67614).

• Contact information (name, address, phone)
• Credit card number and expiration date
• Name and contact information of honoree (for gift of memberships, memorial and honor gifts)
