Matt Soucek began working with the Parks & Trails Council Land Committee in 2016. Matt is a housing development professional with over 20 years of experience with the construction and management of affordable housing, as well as community development. Matt has worked for Project for Pride in Living (PPL) in Minneapolis, a local nonprofit housing developer and service provider, for over 14 years, currently serving in the role of Senior Project Manager. Matt manages all aspects of housing and real estate development including project budgeting and proforma, site acquisition and planning, architectural design, community representation, and construction management. Matt has extensive experience with a variety of development funding sources and mechanisms used in real estate development. For eight years prior to joining the PPL Team, Matt served in the role of Land Development Project Manager for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity in Minneapolis.
Matt is an avid mountain biker and camper who became involved with Parks & Trails Council to use the development experience he has gained to help make more and better outdoor experiences available in Minnesota.
