Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2021 Annual Dinner on Sept. 9. We appreciated the opportunity to gather with supporters in an open-air venue at Como Lakeside Pavilion. We honored our 2020 Reuel Harmon Awardee, Steven Thorne for his lifetime commitment to protecting Minnesota’s great outdoors. We also presented the Friends Group Partner Award to both our 2020 and 2021 recipients, the Friends of Lake Maria State Park and the Gateway Brown’s Creek Trail Association. We ended the evening with our keynote speaker Travis Novitsky sharing his stunning photography of the night sky near his home of Grand Portage.
