Erecting deer exclosure fence

Deer love to eat the buds of young trees. In an effort to protect new trees and promote long-term forest health, Friends of Zippel Bay State Park installed a deer exclosure fencing around 6 acres of forest. They partnered with a local Boy Scout troop to make it happen.

The Friends Group partnered with a Boy Scout troop to erect a deer exclosure around six acres of new forest.
