From Friends of Wild River State Park
The Friends of Wild River State Park held its 7th Annual Otter Trotter 5K on Saturday, October 13, thanks to the help of volunteers and park staff. Despite the chilly weather, more than 50 runners of all ages came to Wild River State Park to enjoy the park’s fall colors. Parks & Trails Council of Minnesota co-sponsored the event to provide liability insurance. This event supports the stewardship projects that Friends of Wild River engages in to support the park.
