Proposed Project Overview

Continue the development of this trail from Zumbrota to Red Wing, Minn.

2018 Identified Need

$1,865,000 in general bonding

$500,000 recommended by LCCMR (funded see details here)

Project Impact

When complete, the trail will connect Red Wing, Goodhue, Zumbrota, Mazzeppa, Bellechester and Pine Island for a distance of 47 miles.

Bonding Bill Status: Not Funded in 2018

1. Bills (HF 2978 & SF 2502) introduced that appropriate $1,300,000 for acquisition and development of the Goodhue Pioneer State Trail from Zumbrota to Red Wing.
2. Bills referred to committees.
3. Bills not included in final bonding bill.
