Maplewood State Park Sugar Shack Dedication

The Sugar Shack at Maplewood State Park has become a reality. Thanks to generous donations and grants, the Friends of Maplewood State Park were able to complete and finish the project in time for the maple sugar season of 2017. The evaporator worked great and they are in the process of putting the finishing touches on the building. The MnDNR has completed the landscaping and the Friends of Maplewood invite supporters to come be part of the celebration.

It’s time to say thank you to all who contributed time and money to the project.

Sugar Shack Dedication

Thursday, September 14 at 3pm

This will be a time to turn over the keys to the MnDNR, to honor those who gave money and time to support and build the Sugar Shack. The story of the Sugar Shack will be shared, tours of the building offered and goals for the future education opportunities shared.
